The Warrior Vacations Program is a successful, non-profit Free Vacation experience for returning Active Duty Military personnel stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan to reconnect with their family.
Since the organization is entirely sponsored by very gracious donations from property owners, resorts and hotels located in the area of Amelia Island in Northeast Florida, our volunteers who take care of the logistics, may require additional information to narrow down your specific circumstances. We try to be as accommodating as the circumstances allow, however please keep in mind that we are at the “mercy” of property availability at certain times throughout the year.
Please be as accurate as possible in your information submission and only put in your request when you have received your firm dates. Keep in mind that R and R is often not a firm date.
Warrior Vacations does not schedule any vacations during our peak Tourist Season which includes the months of June, July and August.
Note: The first weekend in May is ShrimpFestival, the last weekend in October is the Florida/Georgia Football game. Also, Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year are traditionally owners weeks and these dates are not available for Warrior Vacations.
