Thanks for Amelia by the Sea Vacation

Warrior Vacations Family

Warrior Vacations Family

I want to thank you for contributing a week of your condominium’s time to the Warrior Vacations program. My wife, Kerry, our three kids, and I absolutely enjoyed our time at Fernandina Beach. The time spent there was a wonderful opportunity for us to spend quality time with each other and just plain relax on a beautiful beach. We are currently serving in the Army at Fort Stewart which precludes me from being home all of the time so opportunities like this are cherished and the individuals who contribute to make it happen, like you, are extremely appreciated. Please enjoy the small gift from my family to thank you.

I want to thank you for welcoming us to Amelia by the Sea and getting my family situated for the vacation we all enjoyed. I also want to thank you for Continue reading

Thanking our Troops

A Pediatric Surgeon in Iraq

A Pediatric Surgeon in Iraq

Chris Coppola, author and pediatric surgeon wrote about his support and encouragement for those wanting to help say “thank you” to our troops by donating to organizations that provide no charge vacations for service men and women to reunite with their spouse and families when they return home from defending our country on foreign soil.

In his article, “Give a Soldier a Vacation, referring to several Warrior Vacation type initiatives across the country he says, “This is a great way to help troops and their families one at a time.”

Coppola was deployed with the US Air Force from 2005 to 2007 as a trauma surgeon at a combat support hospital in Balad, Iraq, 42 miles north of Baghdad. His book, A Pediatric Surgeon in Iraq, is available at his website.

Warrior Vacations is proud to provide vacations to these families. Your donated vacation property will help these families get reacquainted in a low stress, vacation atmosphere.

WarriorVacations: Deserved rediscovering of the spouses

WarriorVacations is a nonprofit organization

WarriorVacations is a nonprofit organization

Overseas combat is often quite alienating for spouses after long deployments and the military society does not sufficiently realize the impact it has on families once returning from 6-8 months of active duty.

Warrior Vacations has set-out to provide a well deserved Free Vacation for overseas deployed military personnel that should, in a relaxed atmosphere, allow them to reconnect with their families.

We call on all vacation property owners to donate their unused time so that those that fight for your freedom and liberties can also enjoy re-integration into their families they where deprived off under extreme stressful circumstances. Give them back a bit of your time in gratitude for them giving theirs, often under great duress, so that you can enjoy yours.
