Warrior Vacations to have Booth at SunSplash
SearchAmelia will have a booth at Amelia Island SunSpash on July 3rd with Warrior Vacations. Raffle tickets will be sold and donations for Warrior Vacations will be accepted. While the Warrior Vacations program was started right here on Amelia Island, its popularity has grown to include the Jacksonville metropolitan area and we are well on our way to making this a state wide project!

Warrior Vacations Fund Raiser
On Saturday, June 5th, there will be a huge fund raising event sponsored by your Hometown Sears in Fernandina Beach and St. Mary’s, Georgia with many other businesses pitching in to raise funds and increase awareness of Warrior Vacations.
From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Eight Flags Shopping Center parking lot, on 14th Street on Amelia Island will be transformed into a family friendly event complete with a bounce house for the kids, pizza, hot dogs, a DJ spinning entertainment, and fire trucks and military vehicles on display. Local businesses will have booths set up so you can stop by and meet your neighbors.

Walk It Fund Raiser
On June 6, 2010, the Amelia Island Runners has partnered with the Road Runners Club of America to present the Weight Watchers Walk-It Day 5K. This walk-it (or run-it) day is a custom designed journey highlighting walking as a great way to get moving, burn calories and tone muscle.
